Jersey Cancer Relief, since 1973, financially supporting local adults with cancer
Due to generous donations from our community and as a result of our own fundraising efforts, it has been possible to assist many islanders with cancer.
We offer a range of financial support to ‘help ease the cost of cancer’. We are non means tested and take a holistic approach to supporting people who access our services.
Anyone who has lived in Jersey for 6 months can access our services for support and we accept referrals for help from any third party. We treat everyone with dignity, respect and abide by all GDPR legislation and law.
Jersey Cancer Relief came into being in 1968, initially as the local branch of the national campaign.
We became incorporated as a Jersey charity in November 1973.
We opened our very first office in 1994

No
Yes we can visit you at home if you are unable to visit our information centre.
No unfortunately not. The travel desk at the hospital will be able to do this for you. If we have agreed to fund a flight or accommodation for you, you will need to book this yourself and request a refund from us.
Anyone with a cancer diagnosis can self refer but we also take referrals from third parties which include: General Hospital, Jersey Hospice, FNHC and Macmillan Jersey.
You can self refer by calling us on 618148, emailing: contact@jerseycancerrelief.org or drop into our information centre.
Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm.
As long as you have been resident in Jersey for 6 months and are over 18 with a cancer diagnosis you are eligible for financial support.
We treat everyone individually based on your need. We have guidelines we follow that provide clear guidance on what you are eligible for.
We will support you for as long as you are on active treatment and require a GP letter every 2 years to confirm this.
We aim to have a 2 week turnaround but during busy times it can be up to 4 weeks.
Jersey Cancer Relief has helped in so many ways, taking the time to explain things. Helping with doctors bills and food supplements was a weight lifted off my mind.
